So You Think You Can Dance Australia

So You Think You Can Dance Australia is an interactive reality game show, which is an Australian version of American Show and dance-off series 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Hosted by Natalie Bassingthwaighte, an Australian Actress Singer and Television Producer, the show was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe and first aired on 3 February 2008. The first release that was aired on Sundays and Mondays lasted until the final on 27 April 2008. The second and third season of the show were aired during February to April in 2009 and 2010.





The winner chosen by the Viewers voting through telephone and text SMS and the winners were a nineteen year old Broadway Dancer Jack Chambers, eighteen years old Ballet Dancer Talia Fowler and eighteen years old Contemporary Dancer Robbie Kmetoni. The eligibility of age for The contestants is 18-35 years. Network Ten Channel are working out the format for the proposed 'So You Think You Can Dance Australia' show in 2011. In the first season, the show attracted viewership of 2.15 million people and the show went on to become the top rated program with average viewership of 1.83 million people. In the third season, the viewership went down to below a million viewers.
